Form:

I/You/We/They -> have + Verb 3

He/She/It -> has + Verb 3

Use:

1. We use this tense when we talk about an action that started in the past and is still relevant in the present.

نستعمل هذا الزمن عندما نتحدث عن فِعل أو عمل بدأ في الماضي ولكنه ما زال متعلقاً بالحاضر

• Examples

• I have lived in Jatt since 1980.

• She has studied English for 3 years.

• The teacher has taught history since she graduated.

تستعمل في حالتين: SINCE

1. Specific time in the past (2005)

2. Past Simple.

تستعمل في حال تم ذكر مدة معينة من الأزمنة (أيام\أسابيع\شهور\سنوات) FOR

• 10 weeks
